Pollution control is a major concern in design of all combustion system. Of particular concern is the greenhouse gases; dinitrogen oxides (N2O) and Carbon dioxide (CO2), acid gases such as ; sulfur dioxide, sulfur trioxide (SO3), hydrogen chloride(HCl) and nitrogen oxides(NOx), as well as particulates like soot, fly ash and metals like Cadmium (Cd) and Mercury (Hg).
Change reference oxygen level
in emission calculation
To bring all measurements on a common dilution level the oxygen level must be
fixed. The user can enter a common oxygen level (the most common level is 3.0
vol%) and calculate emissions as ppm, vol%, g/m3 or ton/year. The first three
emissions are fixed but the following five are user selected.
